According to the statistics of the first half year of China Dyestuff Association, the total dye output in China was 385 thousand tons in 1-6 months in 2010, an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year, and sales revenue was 10 billion 300 million yuan, an increase of 20.6% over the same period last year.

Chang Yizhi, a researcher in the chemical industry of CIC, pointed out that the pick-up trend of China's dyestuff industry has been obvious this year.

On the one hand, the output of main dye producing areas in China has increased fairly well, and the demand for downstream has increased, and the sales revenue of enterprises has been gratifying.

On the other hand, the import and export trade of dyes in China is also increasing.

Moreover, due to the gradual improvement of the world economy, the increasing orders of China's textile and garment industry, paper making and printing industry have greatly increased the demand for dyes, making the sales income of the major dyestuff production enterprises in our country rise obviously.

For example, Zhejiang Longsheng [10.251.49%] Holdings Limited achieved operating income of 6 billion 667 million yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 55.1% over the same period last year, and realized a profit of 550 million yuan, an increase of 84% over the same period last year.

Chang Yizhi also pointed out that in the first half of this year, the import and export of dyestuffs in China also showed different ranges of growth.

According to customs statistics, in 2010 1-5, the import volume of dyestuffs in China was 22 thousand tons, an increase of about 30% compared with the same period last year, and the export volume was 113 thousand and 400 tons, an increase of 30.8% over the same period last year.

Chang Yizhi believes that the gradual increase in the number of imports and exports of dyes in China shows that the dyestuff trade is increasingly active, and it can be seen that the pick-up trend of China's dyestuff industry is obvious.

According to the "2010-2015 year investment analysis and forecast report of China's printing and dyeing industry" released by China investment advisor, China's dye production is mainly concentrated in the eastern region, and dye production in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai accounts for more than 80% of the total output.

Among them, Zhejiang accounts for about 2/3 of the total dye output in China.
