Almost all of the delegations that participated in the London Olympics received sponsorship from a sporting goods provider, or signed a formal contract with a large company. However, the Egyptian delegation did not.

Ahmed Ali, chairman of the Olympic Organizing Committee of Egypt, recently admitted that Nike and Adidas shoes used by athletes from the Egyptian delegation.

Both knucksack and backpack are fake.

But Ahmed Ali said that even if this is a fake, the quality is good enough: "considering the current economic situation in Egypt, we signed an agreement with a distributor from China.

"On Wednesday, Ahmed Ali said in an interview with The Associated Press.

He also said that the price of real goods is too expensive, and that the current financial situation in Egypt can not afford such a cost.

However, what if Nike and other manufacturers are looking for their troubles? Ah MoD said, if it is to be found, Nike should also find the trouble of Chinese dealers, not the Egyptian delegation.

In fact, Nike has issued a statement on Wednesday: "we are very concerned about this matter. If the situation is true, the Nike products worn by those athletes have not reached the quality standard of genuine Nike at all.

"Nike also said that they tried to contact the Egyptian Olympic Organizing Committee a few weeks ago, but there was no result.

At present, they asked Egypt to take immediate action: "we are discussing with them now to see if we can come up with a solution.

"

Many Egyptian athletes are beginning to complain that swimmer Khalaf wrote in his blog that he had spent more than 300 dollars on a better training kit.

More interesting is that although the Egyptian delegation has a large Nike LOGO on its clothing, the trademark on the zipper is Adidas.

The tumultuous political situation in the country has damaged Egypt's tourism industry for 17 consecutive months, and has continued to affect Egypt's exchange rate.

Ahmed Ali said they had considered some other options before contacting with Chinese dealers, but eventually accepted the offer from Chinese distributors.

Because those big sporting goods companies offer them 300 to 500 dollars per athlete, which is not affordable to the Egyptian delegation.

"This is a lot of money, especially when we have 112 athletes.

Also, don't forget that we have coaches, managers and doctors to London.

"Ahmed Ali continued complaining.
